Some of the Cubs enjoyed their fourth off-day of the month yesterday at the ballpark. Ted Lilly and Kevin Hart were seen sprinting and playing games in the Wrigley Field outfield during a rainy afternoon. While many of the hitters can use the day off to rest, pitchers typically try to stay conditioned between appearances.

The Cubs begin a nine-game stretch against the NL Central, facing the Cardinals and Reds on the road after the Brewers. … Chicago is 11-4 against the division this season, 5-5 outside of it.
