Name: James Russell
HT: 6-4
WT: 205
DOB: 1/8/1986
Draft: Selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 14th round of the 2007 draft

James Russell is a guy on [Tennessee] we just moved up. [He’s] from last years draft and the son of Jeff Russell, the closer. Very, very advanced for where he is at coming out of the draft. He’s a left hander that has three pitches and really really can pitch. It will be interesting to see how quickly he tracks through the system.
