HOMERS – Bobby Scales (6)

? 1B Bobby Scales belted a two-out grand slam in the fourth inning, going 2-for-3 with a walk, a homer, four RBI, and one run scored … he is 12-for-35 (.343) with one homer, four walks, 19 RBI, and a .429 on-base percentage with runners in scoring position.
? LF Matt Murton, who went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, a stolen base, and three runs scored, leads the Cubs organization with his .362 (46-for-127) batting average.
? LHP J.R. Mathes improved to 2-0 with a 2.19 ERA (6 ER/24.2 IP) in four home starts this season … he has struck out 13, while walking only four over those contests.

? 3B Kyle Reynolds‘ one-out grand slam highlighted the Smokies six-run eighth frame … with the bases loaded, he is hitting at a .333 (2-for-6) clip with six RBI.
? 1B Matt Craig improved his team-leading batting average to .355 (22-for-62) after going 2-for-3 with a double, two walks, an RBI, and a run scored.
? RHP Gregory Reinhard recorded his first win of the season, tossing a hitless ninth inning, walking one and striking out two … he is holding left-handed hitters to just a .175 (7-for-40) average.
