Iowa erased a 3-0 deficit, scoring three in the sixth and three more in the eighth to dethrone the Royals, 6-3.

HOMERS – Micah Hoffpauir (7), Jason Dubois (11)

? RF Jason Dubois homered for the third straight game, going 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI … he is 4-for-8 with three walks, three homers, five runs and four RBI over the last three games.
? 1B Micah Hoffpauir tied the game with a three-run shot in the sixth … he finished the game 1-for-4 with the homer and three RBI, marking the fifth time this year he has driven in three or more runs.
? RHP Gregory Reinhard tossed 3.0 shutout innings of relief, yielding a hit and three walks while fanning seven to earn the victory.

Huntsville scored in six separate innings, beating the Smokies for the sixth time in as many games this year, 7-3.

? 1B Matt Craig had Tennessee’s only multi-hit game, going 2-for-3 with a walk, two doubles and a run scored … he raised his season average to .360 and his on-base percentage to .520.
? SS Matt Camp was 1-for-4 with a walk and his team-leading 15th stolen base of the year.
? OF Tyler Colvin was named Southern League Hitter of the Week after going 10-for-26 with two triples, two homers and eight RBI from June 23-29.
? LHP Donnie Veal was named to the 2008 Southern League All-Star Game.

Peoria Chiefs (A-): 7-5 Overall

Peoria and Kane County battled back and forth, but Jovan Rosa hit a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the 11th to send the Chiefs to a four-game sweep of Kane County and their seventh straight win.

HOMERS – Marquez Smith (12), Jovan Rosa (3)

? 1B Jovan Rosa went 3-for-6 with the slam, two runs scored and a season-high five RBI.
? 3B Marquez Smith hit his team-leading 12th home run of the year, going 3-for-4 with the dinger, two walks, four runs scored and two RBI … Smith also leads the team in walks (31), hits (86), runs (48) and RBI (44).
? CF Jonathan Wyatt was 4-for-5 with a walk, a double and three runs scored … it was his eighth multi-hit affair and his second four-hit contest in 19 games with Peoria.

The Dust Devils broke a 3-3 tie with runs in the seventh and eighth innings to defeat Boise, 5-3.

LHP Harol Tolentino (ND 2-0, 3.75) 4.0 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 1 K

? SS Ryan Flaherty went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI to raise his average to .375 … it was his third three-hit game in his last four starts, and he is 10-for-17 (.588) with a double, a homer, five runs scored and four RBI in those games.
? 3B Josh Vitters was 2-for-4 with a run scored … he extended his hit streak to 13 games, recording multi-hit affairs in six of those contests.
