? RHP Craig Muschko bounced back from a three-run outing on July 3 to toss 2.1 scoreless innings, allowing no hits and no walks, while striking out three.
Boise recorded its second series win of the season with an 8-1 victory over the Canadians … the Hawks plated four runs in both the fourth and fifth frames.

The AZL Cubs let their bats do the talking, pounding the AZL Giants, 17-4 … Mesa extended its brief win streak to three games, outscoring their opponent, 26-7 over the span.

? RF Nelson Perez added a solo shot, his third of the season, to the Cubs six-run eighth inning … he ended the day 2-for-6 with a double, the homer, two runs scored and two RBI. Perez extended his hit streak to eight games and homered in back-to-back games for the first time this season.
