Daytona scored four runs in the first, but managed only two base-runners the rest of the way, as Palm Beach came from behind to take game one, 6-4.

This time Daytona made sure their early lead would hold up, scoring in four of the first five frames on their way to a 6-3 victory and a split of the double-header.
