Tennessee snapped a three-game losing streak and returned to the .500 mark with a 9-7 victory over Chattanooga.

? LF Tyler Colvin went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a grand slam, a run scored and four RBI … his 69 RBI lead the team.
? Leadoff hitter Sam Fuld was 4-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and an RBI, raising his average from .232 to .244.
? Starting pitcher Mark Holliman picked up the win, limiting the Lookouts to three runs on seven hits and three walks, while punching out four in 5.0 innings of work … he has allowed three or fewer earned runs in four of his last five starts.

One night after setting a franchise record with eight home runs, Iowa’s bats were silenced by Round Rock in a 4-1 loss.

? LF Andres Torres went 1-for-4 with his team-leading 18th stolen base.
? SS Luis Figueroa recorded the I-Cubs lone multi-hit performance, going 2-for-3.
? LHP Carmen Pignatiello pitched a scoreless inning of relief, allowing two hits while striking out one


Daytona Cubs (A+): 27-19 Overall

Daytona collected 13 hits against four Jupiter pitchers but left 12 men on base, falling to the Hammerheads, 8-4.

Peoria Chiefs (A-): 25-24 Overall

Peoria snapped its eight-game road losing streak with a 7-6 victory over the Beloit Snappers.

HOMERS – Jonathan Wyatt (4), Brandon Guyer (12), Jovan Rosa (7)

? CF Brandon Guyer went 2-for-4 with his 12th home run, two runs scored and two RBI.
? DH Elvis Lara was 2-for-4 with two RBI and his 13th stolen base.
? 1B Luis Bautista chipped in with a  2-for-4 effort that included two doubles and two runs scored.
? LHP Chris Siegfried tossed 3.0 innings of relief and earned his fourth win.
? RHP Stephen Vento earned his 13th save with 1.2 scoreless innings of relief.

The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes erupted for three runs in the ninth inning to surge past Boise, 4-3.

RHP Ryan Searle (ND 0-0, 0.00) 5.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 6 K

? 3B Josh Vitters extended his hitting streak to 17 games, going 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored … he is 28-for-77 (.363) with eight doubles, two homers, 15 runs scored and nine RBI over the streak.
? SS Ryan Flaherty went 1-for-4 with his 18th RBI … he is  5-for-13 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and two RBI over the past three games.
? Starting pitcher Ryan Searle was overpowering in his first start for the Hawks, allowing three hits while punching out six, in 5.0 scoreless innings.


Mesa Cubs (R): 6-6 Overall; First Half: 18-10 Overall

Mesa could only muster three hits in a 9-1 loss to the AZL Padres.

? CF Tony Campana went 1-for-4 with a run scored … he is 3-for-7 with a walk, three runs scored and a stolen base in his last two games.
? RHP Tarlandas Mitchell limited the Padres to an unearned run on one hit and two walks in his 3.0 innings of relief, while punching out three … he hasn’t given up an earned run over his past four appearances  (8 IP) while striking out nine.
