Another beautiful day
Despite all the excitement surrounding a potential division clinch this weekend, the Cubs clubhouse was relatively calm and loose this morning. Lots of card playing and football discussions. As Mike pointed out this morning, that’s the way it’s been for most of this year, after wins or losses. These guys have an impressive, professional temperament that could be a big virtue for this club.
Top sight in the clubhouse: All of the newspapers were sitting open to the Cubs recaps and Geovany Soto photos.
