Last observations

With tomorrow being the last day of the season, technically, we in the publications department have been busy at work trying to finish up our National League Division Series program. It has been difficult to do considering how tight the race is for the NL Wild Card berth.

By Friday, we had prepared the same pages for three different opponents, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and New York. Today, Philadelphia separated itself today by clinching the NL East. It’ll come down to the games tomorrow to see if we play the Mets or Dodgers.

Now, what if both teams win tomorrow and there’s a tie-breaker? I don’t really want to think about that….

But make sure to check out our program on Wednesday–it took a lot of work!–when we take on the Whosawhattsits of Wherevertheheckthey’refrom.Your guess is as good as mine right now.

Note: Ted Lilly’s 17 wins is the most by a Cubs lefty since Ken Holtzman won 17 games in 1970.
