Cubs to broadcast 50 games in Spanish

This year, the Chicago Cubs will broadcast an expanded number of Cubs games in Spanish. After airing 43 games in Spanish in 2011, the Cubs and WRTO – 1200 AM are increasing the total number of games to 50 in 2012, with the potential to add more broadcast dates throughout the season. The first Spanish-language broadcast on WRTO will be on Sat., April 7, at 12:05 p.m. against the Washington Nationals.

Hector Fabregas will return for his fifth season as a color analyst for WRTO. He will be joined by Omar Ramos, who is making his Cubs play-by-play debut this season.
