What year is it? The October 1987 cover of Vine Line featured Cubs outfielder and eventual NL MVP Andre Dawson. In his first season with the Cubs, the Hawk hit .287/.328/.568 (AVG/OBP/SLG), and led the NL in home runs (49) and RBI (137). He also won a Gold Glove and a Silver Slugger.
