Cubs announce single game ticket options
The Cubs announced details regarding the purchase of single game tickets for the 2013 season on Wednesday. Tickets go on sale at the Wrigley Field ticket office on Friday, March 8, starting at 8 a.m., two hours before online and phone sales begin. Fans interested in obtaining tickets in person before 10 a.m. must participate in a wristband procedure.
A random wristband system will be used to determine who may purchase tickets at the Wrigley Field ticket office before online sales begin. Numbered wristbands will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on Sunday, March 3, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday, March 4, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Captain Morgan Club. The winning numbers will be announced on WGN Radio and at cubs.com on Wednesday, March 6, at 8 a.m. Single game tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. for the general public.
Starting at noon on Wednesday, March 6, fans can buy tickets at a 20 percent premium—or 15 percent for buyers using a MasterCard—during the MasterCard Pre-Sale via cubs.com.
Fans can also purchase tickets via cubs.com and by telephone (800-THE-CUBS) starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 8.
