LHP Rich Hill tossed 5.2 scoreless innings, allowing three hits, walking four, and fanning eight ... he owns a 1-1 mark with a 1.69 (2 ER/10.2 IP) in two starts with Iowa.

• C Koyie Hill was 1-for-2 with a double and two RBI, recording his first multi-RBI game of the season.
• CF-LF Andres Torres saw his 24-game hitting streak come to an end, going 0-for-3 with two strikeouts ... the streak ranks fourth-longest in I-Cub history.

Huntsville's bats proved red hot once again as the Stars beat the Smokies, 7-2 ... Huntsville out-hit Tennessee, 15-5.

• RF Ryan Harvey and 1B Fox plated Tennessee's lone runs on a pair of RBI-singles in the third ... Harvey's 15 RBI on the season, rank tied for the team lead with Tyler Colvin.
•RHP Michael Cooper (1.0) and RHP Jim Henderson (1.0) combined to pitch 2.0 innings of shutout relief ... both pitchers have yet to surrender an earned run this season (Cooper 6.2 IP and Henderson 4.0 IP).

Suspension: Chiefs manager Ryne Sandberg served his second of a three-game suspension after a verbal altercation with Clinton manager Mike Micucci that led to Sandberg being ejected. This is Sandberg's second suspension and seventh ejection since taking over as Peoria's manager last season.
