It’s been almost 20 years since Arsenio Hall had a top late night talk show, but he’s back in the game. The actor and comedian recently started hosting a new show, Arsenio, which made its debut Sept. 9 on WGN. Vine Line caught up with the former Celebrity Apprentice winner to discuss his favorite times at Wrigley Field, his lackluster pitching career and, most importantly, the infield dirt.

Actor, director and musician Gary Sinise was born on the South Side of Chicago, but that didn’t stop him from rooting for the Cubs teams of his youth—teams that featured greats like Ron Santo, Ernie Banks and Fergie Jenkins. The Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actor, who now stars in CSI: NY, never misses a chance to visit Wrigley Field and definitely knows how to fire up the crowd with a rousing rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.”

Chicago Bears defensive lineman Israel Idonije might spend his Sundays beating up opposing offenses in the trenches, but he is widely regarded as one of the NFL’s nice guys. On Sept. 17, Vine Line caught up with the football star and humanitarian, who was on hand to throw out the first pitch with a student from his foundation. Idonije discussed his path to the NFL, his charitable side and what a North Side World Series would mean to the city of Chicago.
